confused about spouse visa process

Post by anon1 » Mon Dec 09, 2019 12:30 am

Hi everyone,
I will be applying for my Canadian wife's spouse visa next month to join me here in the UK. This will be done under the "Category A" financial requirement route

Could you please clear up the following matters for me:

Can I pay for the priority service online or does she have to pay it at her biometrics appointment?

How long does the process of getting the visa usually take?

Do I need to send her any documents?

I have the following documents. Could you please advise if they are sufficient?

*My UK passport
*6 months of payslips showing address of employer- stamped by my manager at work confirming they are genuine
*Bank statements showing the payment of salary into my bank account
*Contract of employment
*Letter by the HR department confirming length of employment, salary paid
*Whatsapp, Viber and Instagram communication since the beginning of our relationship
*Photos taken together and marriage pictures
*Marriage certificate
*Screenshots of phone calls and the length of them
*Property of Inspection report
*Letter of consent to live in the accommodation signed by me as the property owner (my mother cannot sign due to lack of mental capacity)
VAF4A Appendix 2 form

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
