FLR(M) Grant of Leave letter signed for by someone else

Post by juhmiiu » Sat Jan 04, 2020 2:10 pm

Hi,

Me and my partner recently applied for FLR(M) and were granted 30 months limited leave to remain.

When we received the decision we only had a signed-for package containing the BRP. A month later the decision letter arrived through our letterbox but it had already been signed for and opened by someone else, the date on the letter was a couple of days before we got the BRP. Inside was a "Grant of Leave" and another letter explaining the BRP postage process.

It seems Royal Mail gave the letter to another address who signed for it, opened it, and then put it back through our letterbox a month later. Does anyknow know if the letter should have contained anything else that might have been taken, or should we inform anyone that the letter had been opened by a 3rd party?

Thank you!

It is only a letter that is sent, nothing else.
