Getting a mortgage on home country and Fiance Visa

Post by angelist2 » Tue Jun 02, 2020 10:01 am

Hello all, hope you are all healthy and doing well!

I have a question. Me and My partner wants to apply for fiance visa. If I apply for a mortgage in my home country (Turkey) (installments will be paid by my parents but mortgage will be on my name) would it reduce our chances to get the visa? Would it have any effect at all?

No. It won't even be asked.

Oh thanks a lot. This is weird because the lawyer we are working with asked whether if I have a debt or not.
Apparently it is very important?

None-UK loans/debts only matter where such sum of money is attempted to use as cash savings to meet the visa requirement. In all other scenarios it will be irrelevant to the case even the court proceedings are in place.
