Financial requirement for FLR (M)

Post by MrChris » Wed Dec 02, 2020 1:03 am

Hi All,

I am applying for my Wife's visa extension but I am a bit concerned as I currently do not have an income as I stopped working on the 10th September this year due to start my new job on the 28th December. My wife currently earns £34000 annually which is above the financial requirement threshold but I am concerned that me not having and income for the last 3 months may affect the application. Could anyone please advise?

Thank you!

For extension, the burden of financial requirements and or supporting documents are not solely on the sponsor. Your wife should use her income which appears more than enough to meet the financial requirements. Newded supporting docs like letter from employer, payslips and her bank statements should be supplied.

Your wife alone can meet the requirements. No issues.
