FLR extension question about living with friends or relatives

Post by davidpotato » Sun May 26, 2024 7:58 pm

Hello regarding document on the FLR visa application concerning "A letter from relative(s) or friend(s) confirming I or my partner lived with them for some or all of the 2-year period".

My wife is living in the UK on a spouse visa, we are getting it extended. She went to visit her family twice in Ghana.

Does this mean she needs a letter from her parents saying that she came to live them?

Or is it because she only went to visit them rather than live with them, she therefore would not need a letter from her family?

Please can someone help me with this, as i am confused.

Thanks,

Such a letter, if relevant, is only applicable to the UK if you and her have lived with friends or family.

It has nothing to do with visiting someone in another country.

Thanks for explaining and giving a clear answer.

I was worried about how to get a last minute letter

As it was for visit and not living, it's not relevant and does not count against her.

Question regarding Items of correspondence

Post by davidpotato » Wed May 29, 2024 7:31 pm

Hello,

Please help

Regarding of items of correspondence. Do i just need to provide the first page of a letter, or do i need to submit every page of the letter.

For example i am going to submit a Pensions letter, do i submit page one of the letter only (that's dated with my name on etc) or do i submit every page that came with it?

Thanks,

David
