May I Holiday Outside the UK Whilst My Fiance-to-Spouse Visa Application is Being Processed?

Post by whiskydeltatango » Wed Oct 09, 2024 3:10 am

Greetings, All,

I have just been married in the UK, being present on a Fiance Visa. My application for a switch from a Fiance to a Spouse visa has now been submitted. May I travel outside of the UK to visit my parents in Russia during the time between visa submission and the visa decision?

Many thanks in advance,

K

If you leave the uk while you have an application pending with UKVI, the application will be considered withdrawn and you lose the fee paid.

So short answer is NO, you may not leave.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!
