Spouse Visa

Post by HK331 » Sat Mar 29, 2025 9:17 pm

Hi,
My question is also related to the spouse visa. I dont know how to individually post a question, therefore posting here. I have leave to Remain which is going to expire next year on 28 Feb 2026. I need to apply for a spouse visa for my wife. I just got the Full time Job this Month on 25th March. As per the Spouse Visa requirement, i need to show 6 months Payslips. I will be eligible to apply for a spouse visa in October. This would mean that i will have only 5 months visa left when i apply for the spouse visa. Is this going to cause problem? Because i red it somewhere that you have to have 6 months valid visa to apply for spouse visa? Is this true?

Hi,
Thank you for your response. I have leave to remain ( Private life route). I have to apply for extension after every 2.5 years. I got my leave to remain in August 2023.

You can only sponsor your spouse once you have Indefinite Leave to Remain.
