Spouse Visa extension-what date to apply

Hi

My spouse visa starts with 25th Oct.22
I entered to UK at 1st of Jan.23.
E visa, expire date is 25th July.25.
What date do I need to apply for extension ?

Regarding required documents, do we need to upload them or send physically to home office ( i.e. original passport)?

Please advise. Thanks.

Your qualifying period for 5 years ilr starts from the date you entered the uk. So dont apply too early otherwise you will end up with a shortfall and need a third extension.

All documents are uploaded. Nothing is sent physically to ukvi anymore.
