Tier2 G sponsor threatening to withdraw COS

Post by stillwaters » Thu Mar 06, 2014 10:18 am

Hi! ,

I am on a Tier2 General visa, sponsored by my employer, until March 2016. My sponsor is now threatening to withdraw my COS. What are my rights?
I have another 30 months to go before I can apply for ILR. What are my options now? As my employer has made the workplace a hell to work in, continuing in the same job is not an option. Finding another sponsor has been a nightmare but I want to do the best for my family as we have been here for more than 7 years now.

Thank you for your time.

Sorry to hear that!
1. Have a chat with your employer to normalise your relationship since looking for a new sponsor is a nightmare.
2. Switch into tier 4
3. Keep looking for a new sponsor but don't resign until then.
Good luck

Thank you, Apam for your kind words.

Can the COS be withdrawn if I dont resign?

Potentially they can withdraw your sponsorship for any reason, since tier 2 is employer led.
Let's hope they don't though.
