Applying for PIO OR OCI issues and Visa..

Hello Everyone

1) I am a British citizen i have never held another citizenship in my life.. my father is from India hence me wanting to apply for Pio or oci. and my mother is from Pakistan but she is a british citizen and passport holder.

I applied for pio and i was told i am not eligible for PIO because my mother is of pakistani origin..does this matter however i am eligible for OCI as i only need my fathers background for this.

how do i go about this and what do i need now to apply for oci?

2) i have applied for my mothers visa is there anyway to make it quicker then the 6-8 weeks mention? she hold a British passport and has traveled to India over 20 times previously as we were hoping to travel in a few weeks.

any suggestions and discussion would be great
