Hi, Can you get the details of his absences in following format?sha373 wrote:Hi, my friend came in UK in may2009 on hsmp...he is applying for ILR next month but he has spent 206 days out of UK (not due to job) ..plz throw a light on about 180 days rule and he needs extension or should go for ILR.
Based on above along with the assumption I made he is on Tier 1 General Visa it seems he hasn't spent more than 180 days outside UK in any calendar year starting from his visa stamp date, if this the case there shouldn't be any problem.sha373 wrote:Thanxx for reply...here is details
3rd May 2009 entry in UK
2010(feb to May ) 85days absent
2011. 63days absent
2012. 59days absent
Total days absent 206
Urgent response is much appreciated
No worries, here is the document about the continuous period calculation.sha373 wrote:Thanx for your reply...yes he is on tier1 general visa.
