Tier 4 master student applying for job

Hi all,

With regards to Tier 4 to Tier 2 switch, I am currently a master student expecting to graduate Jul 2014.

Am I allowed to apply for job that starting in August now? With regards to RLMT exemption, it stated that we will be RLMT exempted if converting from Tier 4 to 2. But I wondered if we could apply NOW or do I have to wait til master completed before I can start applying for job?

you can apply for the job anytime.the only thing matter is if the company is willing to sponsor you.

Yup company is willing to sponsor, but they are worried that i am not exempted from RLMT (which means i will be ineligible as job is not advertised as such). Hence job is on hold now while they are getting opinion from UKBA who has been giving different sets of advice.

Any idea what shall i do now?
