Food Franchise

Post by ajaypratap11 » Sun Mar 09, 2014 10:05 pm

Hi Guys,

I need an advise regarding to invest in the business.
Can i open food franchise like subway or dominos and my job title should be Business Manager or sales manager.

on the policy guide it state that Businesses that are set up as franchises can be accepted for the award of points. You will either be self-employed or employed, depending on how you decide to structure the franchise business, and should provide the appropriate evidence.
(totally confusing )

Waiting for your prompt reply.

Thanks

yes you can do anything you please if investment is 200,000 or over and applying from out side of UK.
with 50,000 I am afraid if there is anything one would do recognized as a level 4 or above in food franchise business when delivery to client is making or serving the food while accounts or any back office work is called administrating a business.
franchises are not only in food chain its broad term involves all sectors in you in case would have to meet the visa requirements in relation to business delivery of service to the clients not your services to your business if you are up for 50,000 ent. visa
thanks,

Switching allowed?
Applicants can switch from the following categories:

 highly skilled migrant
 Tier 1 (General) migrant
 Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) migrant
 Tier 1 (Investor) migrant
 Tier 1 (Graduate entrepreneur) migrant

I see you listed 3rd down.
having granted tier 1 entrepreneur regardless of route you took to get in technically allowing you for a switch within category however before you think any further on it you should speak to or contact UKVI using your lawyer to take a written confirmation i.e. email
if you read through the policy there seems to be a provision for this by making a new application having granted tier 1 £50,000 i do not think you can do you plan to do
thanks,
