Schengen Visa Application for Nigerian Passport

Hi all

I would like some advice, i have a nigerian passport and i applied for the Schengen visa at the German embassy in London. When applying i was missing some documents so i had to come back on a later date.

After applying i was told it would take a minimum of 14 working days, but i only have 12 days before my travel.

Has anyone had this experience before and received their passport earlier?

Visa processing times do vary based on nationality & also visa type. When I applied for a business Schengen visa at the German vfs centre (via company visa agent) in February it was actually processed within 2 days, even though I was told it could take up to 5 working days. I am not however, a Nigerian passport holder.

More likely it will take 14 days. It was in my case with the French. But you never know.
