ILR maintenance funds

Post by imtiyazm » Thu Mar 13, 2014 2:02 pm

Hi Gurus, you have been very helpful for my questions
I have another one

What are maintenance fund requirements for ILR? Are they same as tier 1 General I.e £900 plus £600 for each dependant ?
I am currently on Tier 1 General and the ilR is going to be main applicant plus 2 dependants ?
Really appreciate your help.

I have already verified that I meet all other requirements.

Just to add I have gone through http://www.immigrationboards.com/indefi ... 79378.html which does mention about maintenance funds as below but I wanted to bee more specific. Thanks

A - No, there is no absolute minimum balance required. However it is advisable to show bank statements with some savings to demonstrate that you can support yourself (and dependants) if required.

As it stated there is no maintenance required, yes it is advisable to have some money in your account.
In my case, mine approved with negative balance.

Thanks,
Uday
