Tier 5 switching to Tier 2 timelines

Hi. I will keep it very short and simple

I am Tier 5 Youth Mobility and have a job that wishes to sponsor me to stay. I will be applying (from back home) for the Tier 2. We are currently beginning he process for them to get their credentials to sponsor me and get a CoS. My questions are:

- Is there a specific timeline that has to be followed for this? ie. Are we allowed to conduct the Labour Market Test while awaiting for the business to be approved to sponsor?

- Do I need to wait for my Tier 5 Visa to expire before applying for the Tier 2 one (I realize I need to be home to do this)
