Reconsideration

Post by Shondra Sharma » Thu Mar 13, 2014 12:52 pm

Hello forum!!! I sent reconsideration request on 4th sept 2013 to my refusal on 7 year child case, which I applied in sept 2012 and refused on august 2013. But no reply yet from home office. Does home office nowadays reply reconsieration request?

A request made to reconsider an immigration decision sent to the Home Office on or after 13 November 2012 will only be considered if it relates to a:
granted application
 refusal decision and the migrant provides evidence that impacts upon the decision outcome and/or any subsequent appeal rights and it:
o proves the date of application
o proves that documents provided with the original application were genuine, or
o identifies evidence which was received by the Home Office before the decision date but was not available to the caseworker at the point of decision.

Does my reconsideration request is accepted by home office above this criteria? what does granted application means?

I believe if you do Jr application you would get quicker response as you have a stronger case than when you initialy apply because I don't think HO give a damn about reconsideration.
