World Bridge Issue (Brazil)

Post by prezident44 » Mon Mar 17, 2014 6:34 pm

Hi All

I made an application for a uk spouse visa for my Brazilian wife online on 16th Feb as documents can take weeks to reach where she lives in middle of nowhere Brazil and it stated that documents were considered valid at the time of application, and a biometric appointment could be made within 3 months of the application being paid for. So the documents have now arrived and I logged in to book her biometric appointment to find that World Bridge's contract with UK has ended and it's now a company called VFS. On the VFS website the only piece of information on how to apply says that I must decide what kind of visa is needed, apply and then make the appointment whilst applying, there's no contact email address or phone number!

So I can only make an appointment whilst applying but I have already spent 3 hours applying and paid for it, or so it seems!

Please could anyone help me out with what I need to do?

Thanks :(

Try: Ukvi.americas@vfshelpline.com

It was under complaints, but hopefully someone can advise you...
Do you still have access to your application?

Thanks, I'll drop them an email and see. I've also emailed World Bridge, the previous company who processed the biometric info and am waiting on a reply from them.

It's just typical that after 3 years of preparation and seeing each other only on occasion that when we are finally ready something like this happens and they make no provision for people who've made an application but not booked an appointment yet!

Hope you get it sorted... Yet another obstacle on the immigration assault course
And they should have made it clear how information would change hands!
