CAN HUSBAND & WIFE LIVING TOGETHER QUALIFY ON 7 YEARS RULE?

Hello People,
I need help from respected Gurus and anyone with knowledge over this issue.

We have been living as a family, I, my wife and our daughter. She is clocking 7 years in July 2014. My question is, do we qualify to apply for leave to remain under the 7 years rule? I'm asking because some people and a Solicitor I consulted recently advised that the route is only meant for a single parent with a sole responsibility over a kid. Note that currently neither my wife nor I have indefinite leave to remain, I have been in the UK 8 years 3 months.

Please, please, kindly help

I think you are very fortunate getting a good solicitor telling you what's the ground,

I haven't seen a couple granted on this rule or policy, However you still have opportunity to wait to see the outcome for most applicants that went to Court because of the refusal while some are waiting for their reconsideration like myself.

I think sole responsibility only applies when u apply as a parent of a child.

But when u apply or raise point as private life 276 ADE than the only thing u need to demonstrate it that child is living here for 7 years

and why it's not reasonable for child to go back.
