Can I claim WTC or CTC a few months before Naturalisation?

Post by ohojska » Thu Mar 20, 2014 12:24 pm

Hello, I would like to know if it would be ok to start claiming WTC or CTC a few months before I submit my application for Naturalisation. I am a EU national working full time in UK for almost 6 years already. In December I gave birth so currently I'm on maternity leave. I'm claiming only CB. My husband is from outside of EU working full time as well. Previously I didn't claim any single benefit or tax credit. I would appreciate any comments.
