General Visitor and Business Visitor

Hi,

I currently have a General Visitor Visa valid till 20-Jun-14. I previously had Tier 2 ICT ST Visa which expired on 02-Sep-13 and am currently in the cooling-off period as I'm not eligible for Tier 2 ICT LT.

I might get an opportunity to travel to UK for business purposes soon.

My question is -

1. Can I apply for Business Visitor Visa when I already hold a General Visitor Visa. I have read all policy documents and UKBA guidelines but nowhere it is mentioned regarding the possibility of having two visitor visas in different categories.

2. Will applying a Business Visitor Visa affect my current cooling-off period. I am eligible to apply in Tier 2 category again from 03-Sep-14.

I think you cant , because as a tourist you can involve in business activities such as making an agreement , looking at business sites and meeting people who are concerned with your business . You can make business deals aswell .
