ILR / Extension for my wife (PBS dependant)

Post by Skc84 » Tue Mar 25, 2014 9:24 am

Hi Guys,

I am on Tier 2 General and applying for ILR this June (2014) - (PBS)
My wife is on Tier 2 General as a dependant from November 2013 and has her visa until mid September 2014.

I was thinking of getting my ILR done in June 2014 (Set O form), after that extend her visa using FLR (M) form as she wont be able to apply for ILR for 5 years? Is that the right form for her to extend her leave to remain?

Also is it possible to apply same time / same day where I use SET (O) for ILR and she use FLR (M) for her extension as dependant?
Please let meknow.

Thanks

She should extend her leave as a PBS dependant.

Thanks Vinny,

So is it this form?

https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... -dependant

Also does she need to apply on same day when I apply for ILR or she needs to wait till my ILR comes through then apply? She does have time until Sept 2014 where as my ILR should come through in June 2014 (hopefully)

Yes, that's the form. If she may apply shortly before expiry of her leave, preferably after yours has been successful.
