Visitor Visa - ILR

I am on ILR in UK and wish my parents to visit me from India for a short break. I dont have a British passport but have got ILR. I am not sponsoring them, just inviting them.

1. Am I classed as Settled in UK? I think i am.
2. Can my parents apply for General Visitor instead of Family Visitor? Would it create confusion as to why they are applying as general visitor when they are eligible for family visitor visa?
