Teir 1 entrepreneur visa denied

Post by Persianbabe83 » Fri Mar 28, 2014 4:08 pm

Hi I applied for the entrepreneur visa in Jan this year before my PSW expired. My funding was due to come from a third party who provided me with the correct letter from the bank and the solicitor along with statements showing that the money was in the account. In March the Ukba responded and said my vis was declined as a result of me using deception.

They say that when the necessary checks were completed, the bank confirmed that the letters were not genuine even though it was signed. I had no knowledge of this and honestly did not know anything was wrong. I want to leave the country now but is there anyway that I can clear my name before I leave. Has anyone gone through this before?

@ Persianbabe83, the only way you can clear your name is if the account is truely genuine. If the account is genuine, then appeal and get a letter from third party sponsor bank to confirm that account is truely genuine and you should win the appeal.

But if you know that the account is not genuine, then there is no need wasting your time on trying to clear your name as you wont be able to win the appeal.

Thanks olasunkanmi. The account exists but I later found out from my sponsor that the money was never actually there :( :( . This is despite me having statements showing the balance. Would it be worth me appealing this as one lawyer has advised me that the home office don't care.

If HO is saying that it's a falsified document, it means money was never there OR you supplied bank documents with fake identity.

In many cases, HO didn't perform necessary checks and still claimed candidate used deception. Therefore, I would suggest that you check when was money available. If money was available from the date it's mentioned in bank statement, you have a chance.

My sponsor said the money was in the account and provided me with statements and I belived. When everything came out they confirmed that the money was never there as they were hoping that they could find the funds before the HO checked. They have ruined my life :(

Really, were you charge for the third party sponsor? if yes then you cant blame them as you should know never to trust people who charge money for such activities.
