Hi, i applied for spouse visa using FLR (M) in 14 september 2010 (my visa expired in 23 sept 2010). It was then rejected as i was using the wrong version. It was april 2010 not july 2010, the latest at that time. The fee had been taken by HO however. On 1 oct 2010 i submitted the correct version then waited long long time.
On 30 march 2011 HO finally sent me letter but again they said it was wrong version as during i waited from 1 oct 2010 until march 2011 there was new version form for FLR (M) published late in oct or after oct, cant remember. So basically it was not my fault that they kept changing the form and that they had administration error. They asked me to make new application.
On 12 april 2011 i sent it. On 18 may 2011 they rejected my application but granted me with Discretionary Leave for three years as they considered me for being an over stayer, really!
Now i need guidance on which form should i use for my DL extension? Once i read that if you were granted DL as part of FLR (O) then you have to use the same form. But i used FLR (M) at that time.
