Fiance Visa - Tuberculosis Test

Post by Johngriff » Sun Mar 30, 2014 2:01 pm

Hi all
Myself and my fiance are in the final stages of compiling documentation for a Fiance Visa application. She lives in Malaysia, and so is required to have a TB test.

It isn't clear to me whether this is needed before the visa application form is submitted & the fee paid online, or whether it can be done shortly after, whilst the processing is going on. The link with the information about TB testing is at

https://www.gov.uk/browse/visas-immigra ... ve-applied

so that does make me think it can be done 'after you've applied', and I cannot see anywhere that it states specifically about the timing in relation to the TB test. However, I see on some advice sites online that it's stated it needs to be done pre-application. We are hoping to submit the application in the next week or so, and if possible would like to avoid delay. We would be very grateful if anybody can give a definitive answer to this question?
