Non EEA family member travelling with residence card

Post by soniac » Tue Apr 01, 2014 7:18 am

Hi everyone, it's been a long time since I've posted as my partner received his residence card back in August issued on an a4 paper as we had our passports when the RC was issued. We are travelling seperately for the first time since he's received his RC-he will be visiting family in the US for Easter and I my family in Canada. I just want to be sure that he is good to travel without receiving any hassle from IO upon his return. I have printed a copy of the EU regulations highlighting the regulation that says his passport is not to be stamped upon re-entry so he can have on him in the case that IO question him.

Just wondering if anyone has experienced any issues travelling with the RC on a4 paper and whether or not the IO's have been creating any problems upon returning back to the UK.

Thanks so much you guys....
