TIER 4 CAPPING AND VISA EXTENSION

Post by mifraszain » Thu Apr 03, 2014 10:36 pm

Hi Everyone,
I came to this country (UK) 2007 September as a student and since then following is my details,

* Oct 2007 - Nov 2008 - Level 5, Advanced Diploma in Information Technology (1 Year)
* Feb 2009 - Aug 2010 - Level 5, Diploma in Business Management (1 year 6 months)
* Oct 2010 - Sep 2012 - Level 6, BA (Hons) Business and Management studies ( 2 Years)
* Feb 2013 - Feb 2014 - Level 7, MBA in Business Administration (1 Year)

Now can I go for ACCA or CIMA or what are the other possible way of study guide that available for me, and also is that PHD is the only solution for me?
Are they counting study cap according to the duration written on the CAS statement ? If so above course durations are calculated according to the course start and end date according to the CAS.
Please help me and guide me EXPERTS, As I'm getting mixed replies and I'm getting confused.

You can't go for any level 7 or 6 course if it is 3 years long. You may enroll for Mphil program or some other masters program if it is complimenting your MBA. Alternatively you can go for PhD program with a Uni if you are meeting all other conditions.

Hi Mifras

What u say it looks like you still have 2 years of study left you can do cima or acca if you wish you may need to apply for exemptions to be able to stay on level 7 depending in how much time it takes for how many papers. I dont know if you would have enough time to complete a full acca/cima course but you may be entitled to exemptions because of the degrees you hav completed. Also phd is a option to of course.
