support affidavit from parents

My visa is about to expire in month of May.so i am going to extend student visa again.i want to know that i am using my father bank statement from Pakistan.
So i want to know about affidavit letter that is it compulsory to use stamp paper and if yes what should be the value of stamp paper and shall it be judicial or non judicial stamp paper.

they don't need to provide an affidavit, just a normal letter signed by them and your original birth certificate (and translated if not in English.)
