what papers do I need and my husband to apply for long term

I currently have a visa EEA, after its over, I would like to apply for a stay on the constant in the uk, what documents I need to prepare myself and my wife that a request was positive? my wife is not working and we have two small children. Works just me, very please with all kinds of documents we have to introduce. many thx for any ans :roll:
