Hi,
I've been in Tier 2 (General) for about 18 months now, on a job that falls under an NQF Level 6 category, paying £45K/year. But, I've been made aware that my job is at risk of redundancy, meaning: I might lose my job in the next few days. I have come across a really good opportunity with Tier 2 Sponsorship, but it is an NQF Level 4 paying only £22K/year. Although I'm happy to take the pay cut and take the new job under NQF level 4 with £22K, my solicitor says my application will be rejected because I'm not allowed to go down from an NQF Level 6 to NQF Level 4. Is that true? Why should I not be allowed to reduce my salary, and NQF levels?
Quick responses are much appreciated as I've to sort this out against the clock. Thanks in advance.
