EEA card (Surname has changed on new passport)

Post by zinokrij » Tue Apr 08, 2014 8:42 pm

PLEASE HELP!!

I have a EEA visa that was issued in early 2013 in my current Australian passport with my MAIDEN name. My passport is due to expire, when I renew it I'll be changing my surname to my married name. Will my EEA visa be invalid, due to the different surnames? Happy to travel with both passports and marriage certificate.

Thanks

Don't think you'll have a big deal if you can prove that it's still you, i.e. marriage cert & 2 passports. I take it the pics still look the same hehe.
