Continous Period date confusion

Post by sak20099 » Sun Apr 06, 2014 6:53 pm

Hi All,

my details are

04th June 2009 (HSMP visa)
08th Aug 2009 first entry
04th June 2011 (Tier 1 General Extension)
04th June 2014 Visa Expiry

I have one query related to continous period for the first year, is the below table correct using 08th Aug as start period or should i use 11th May or 04th June 2009 ? My understanding is since i landed within 90 days should not be counted as absences , but how to write them in the continous period ?

Period From to Total days absent year
Year 1 12-May-14 13-May-13 83
Year 2 12-May-13 13-May-12 35
Year 3 12-May-12 13-May-11 20
Year 4 12-May-11 13-May-10 132
Year 5 12-May-10 8-Aug-09 (first entry ? ) 140

Really appreciate the respnse from senior gurus.

date between entry and date of entry clearance if within 90 days is not counted as absence . So your start date will be the date of your visa.

Thanks argus7 for the reply , mine is within 90 days , and if i count time between visa issue and visa entry as as absences it exceeds 180 days for first year, however if i dont count them as absence then i am within 180 days threshold
