New on-line application form

Post by jshouky » Sun Apr 13, 2014 9:39 am

I'm English living in Egypt with an Egyptian husband and two children. We hope to move back to the UK this summer providing he can get the visa. Some time ago I printed out the vaf4 form and the appendix for the financial requirement to fill in all the details as a practice run to make sure I had all the information I needed. Now that I've come to actually do the application on-line I find that they've changed the entire form and website and nothing is as it was, grrr!! Presumably I choose settlement visa and 'husband' for his application, everything else seems okay until I get to the sponsor bit - this is me as I have the necessary savings in the UK but there is no option to choose 'spouse' or 'wife' - I see other people have mentioned this on the forum, is there any definitive answer as to what to do? It seems very odd that they have not included this option. Also there is nowhere to include the financial requirement details - does this mean I have to fill in the old appendix form and put it with the supporting documents or does this also have to be done somewhere online? Thanks for any help….

Yes you'll have to use the Appendix paper form if it's not available online. If spouse isn't there what about relative?
