Startup applying for Tier 5 creative sponsorship license

Post by angour » Mon Apr 14, 2014 1:31 pm

Hello all,

we are a young company (dance school) wishing to apply for a Tier 5 creative sponsorship license. One of the documents required is the CT603 (notice to submit the tax return), which is fine, but they are also asking for the CT600 which is the tax return itself.

As we have just closed our first year, our tax return is not due until the last quarter of 2014, so we have not yet submitted it.

Does this mean that our application would get rejected, i.e. we can only provide the demand notice to submit a tax return, but not the return itself yet.
Are there any exceptions for startups? Or is it that you effectively cannot apply until you've had your first tax return filed...

Many thanks for any help/guidance you can provide

I believe the supporting documents are different if you are a start-up company. There is a separate list of support docs for new companies.
