ILR Dependent visa for spouse from India (Settlement)

Post by nandug23 » Tue Apr 15, 2014 4:26 pm

Hello Team,

I'm currently on UK ILR since 26/09/2013 and got married in Feb 2014. I would be applying for my wife's dependent visa in June (no dependents). Can you please answer my below queries:

I'm employed by a company X and have been with them since 6 years. My salary is approx £30,000 per annum since the last 2 years. However, I plan to leave this organisation in 1st week of May (say 07/05) and would be out of work for 3 weeks. Therefore, I would start my new job only in June only. In the above situation, I would have one payslip for May with just £600 in it. This would be available with me while I apply for the dependent visa.

1) Is it fine for me to apply for the visa in June (as my 6 month aggregate salary will be in excess £18,600 per year although I received less salary in May)?

2) Do I need to have any supporting documents from my previous company? I will try to get these now before I leave them.

3) Do I need to provide any evidences that I have recently joined a new company? (Like offer letter or supporting letter from the new company, etc)

Sorry, if any of my questions are obvious. Just wanted to be sure that I have the correct information before I apply for the visa. Thanks a lot for your time.

Many Thanks,
Nanda.

You could apply under Cat B, so far as:

You have actually earned gross the required financial requirement in the last 12 months and

Your job has an annual income as per employer letter that meets or exceeds the required financial requirement.

Specified evidenced required is detailed in Annex FM 1.7 (click).
