Settlement accompanying parent renewal

My wife has a British passport, I have ILR and residence permit. Our 2 children have Settlement Accompanying Parent visa which is due to expire. We have the added complication that their Australian passports are also due to expire the same day. I have an appointment for the passport renewal but need advise on the visa situation.
1) need to renew their visa - how can we do this?
2) need the renewal reflected in their new passport.

Any advise out there please??

Given that your wife is a British Citizen are they not eligible for citizenship and subsequently a British passport also?
