Switching from PSW to Tier 1-Is there any salary requirement

Hi,

I am currently on Tier-1 PSW and planning to switch to Tier-1 Entrepreneur (50K) -For this I have registered a company and made my self a director- I am also working as a contractor for my company. This contract role is at NQF level6 or above as mentioned in SOC codes website.

I have also noticed that on SOC minimum salary required is £27K for the work I am doing. My contract comes down to £30K per anum without tax.

My question is, Since I have a limited company and I am drawing a salary of £800 per month, do I come under £27K limit? OR does the SOC minimum pay requirement is applicable on Tier 1 entrepreneur visa? as it is applicable on Tier 2?

Hello Usman,

It will not effect your application. Because no body know that how many contract you will get in future So currently you have one which is more than enough to get visa. You are safe from this side but make sure you do your other documentation professionally. This is not an Issue in tier 1 Entrepreneur visa. Hope it is answer of your question.
