Appeal

Post by Mlaabudi » Tue Apr 29, 2014 1:19 pm

dear all.
I made my application FLR(M) in May last year 2013 and got an instant refusal without right of appeal and told to leave the country because i did not meet only the financial requirement. (i was legal and my student visa was going to run out in feb 2014, we had married in august 2012 ) I somehow got a right of appeal and appealed. The court accepted our appeal and granted me leave under art 8. On the 30th march 2013 i received a letter that the HO are now seeking permission to appeal to the Upper Tribunal against the courts decision. Does anyone know how long this takes and has anyone gone through this appealing to the Upper Tribunal by the Home Office? My husband is not coping well with the whole issue. Please share your thoughts.
Regards
Mla

You should check with the Tribunal to establish the status of the Secretary of State's appeal.

If it was dismissed, you can then chase UKBA for your visa, and get your MP involved.
