SMS Summary of job description changed automatically

Hi Everyone,
I am in a sought of dilemma, i hope somebody can shed some information on it. I was granted my tier 2 extension on nov 2012.
I have the right to access my company Sponsorship management system. Today while accessing my company SMS , i noticed when viewing my old COS , the job description on those COS as changed automatically to something completely irrelevant to my job.

Is it a glitch or somebody has experienced the same thing.

This is a problem that seems to have affected every CoS ever issued! It happened this morning and I have reported it to the UKVI, who are looking into it. This needs rectifying very quickly. You are not alone - every CoS is saying the following job description, regardless of whether it's for a brain surgeon, a footballer or a drummer:

"Main responsibility is to work on project management for distributed projects in UK. Requirements: Enterprise Java (Java EE over 5 years) Experience of Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA and JDBC. SQL and experience of scaling large data systems. Experience of working in agile (Scrum) and test-driven development. Experience of scaling always-on, high availability SoA or Web systems. Knowledge of REST, JSON, messaging or protocol servers. Experience of scaling large data systems (SQL/NoSQL/sharding/distributed messaging systems). Experience of CI/CD and supporting tool chains. Knowledge/experience of development for cloud based solutions desirable. Experience in leading agile development teams, both from management and technical perspective. Mathematical background is a plus. Russian language is a plus"

Well, it hasn't been sorted out yet. There could still be problems with sponsors showing what the text should have said. Unless the system can be restored to what the text should say (in other words the SMS shows your real job description) it's unknown how the Home Office will handle this. But at least you know you're not alone - we input about a hundred entertainment professionals yesterday (2 large music groups) and all their job descriptions are now wrong, so we're holding off on issuing the CoS until we hear back from the Business Helpdesk folks.

As for CoS we've issued recently:
We've got musicians, racing drivers, ice skaters, and all sorts - all coming up with the same IT professional's job description. It remains to be seen how these guys get on when they're coming through the border or (worse) applying for entry visas overseas.

They are going to attempt a system fix between 3 and 4PM today. The SMS might be unavailable or glitchy during that hour.

The "fix" this afternoon at 3PM only worked partially, but a fix happened at about 6PM which seems to have rectified the problem. The 3 CoS I have checked for 3 different sponsors are now all coming up with their intended job descriptions, rather than the one for the Russian-speaking IT specialist.

Hurrah! So this error would only have impacted on some of the people whose entry visa or FLR applications were processed today. It should not impact anyone applying on other days from now on, or in the past.

I hope UKBA first resolves there internal system glitches rather than makes hard for us to breathe even on missing a small document
