Can I withdraw some money?

Post by ishfaqsangra » Fri May 02, 2014 10:26 pm

I showed £30,000 in my account as available to invest(20,000 was third party) and I have invested 9,000 pounds as directors Loan, now I have 21,000 in that account.I have taken salary from the company for my work in last 6 months about 3500 pounds.

1-If they ask for available funds at airport or at any time in future (you never know) will those £21000 be ok. Can there be any question on my own salary?

I know my salary would not count as investment for extension but right now am I ok with condition of availability of funds?
I hope you understand what i mean.

1st of all, they can never ask you to show proof of money at that immigration spot. Plus, you must also be aware that you should never show your online bank account to any other person, no matter who it is (not even with a bank employee, unless they are from an online banking department)

They will not ask you such questions about your salary and all. The questions are generally related to the amount of money you needed for your Tier 1 Entrepreneur, how much money have u invested so far and where is the rest of the money (overseas or in UK). If money is in UK, they won't have any problems. If money is still overseas, they will start freaking you out.

Always ask them to write a letter asking permission to see the availability of funds.

Thanks for your reply.
It means I can say that £9000 has been invested as Director's loan irrespective of my salary(in case if somebody officially esquires about the availability(money is in UK)

HI. one question, 9000 pounds are invested in business & 21000 pounds are available in uk, so total 30,000 pounds. Immigration officer ask for to show remaining 20,000 pounds from Third Party on airport. I am agree for 30000 pounds, but what about to 20000 pounds from third Party. How can we show and proof on airport. We need to take 20000 pounds immediately from third party after taking T1 visa or we can take 20000 pounds later on when ever business needs. Thx

sorry guys but i am unable to understand this proof funds at airport!
i mean if i have part of my funds in home country account and part in UK will the I/o ask me to prove funds availability? my account in home country is not accessible on line then will he ask me to get the banker on phone to confirm
:-P

i think one should not worry about these things let them ask what ever they want just be confident and say i do have funds but i can't prove it right now.

Hi Guys. In policy guidance, I am confused on this point,

Genuine Entrepreneur Test

If you already have leave as a Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) migrant we may curtail your leave if the
funds you have used to apply cease to be available to you (unless you have spent them in the
establishment or running of your business or businesses). ‘Spent’ excludes spending on your
own remuneration
.

The above points means on airport immigration officer ask for business account statement and personal account statement to see funds are still available for business. I have 30000 pounds available in my account and remaining 20000 pounds i need from third party next year when i will expand my business. I am only confuse on this point and be very thankful if someone explain. Thanks
Majid

so do you think the immigration officer will ask you to provide audited financials of your company to verify that the funds are used in your business? or may be he will ask you to submit a cash flow statement showing the investment made in business certified by a chartered accountant !
common you can't prove what you have in your account and what you have invested while standing at airport !
did you made your original application in one day ? it took you months to prepare your original application which you submitted to HO then how can you prove your funds to an immigration officer in matter of minutes ?

If you have a running business then forget about funds and other issues
