Can I apply for PR from TIER 2(ICT -long term staff) visa

Hi,

Right now I am having Tier 2(ICT -Long term staff) visa, am eligible for apply PR with this visa. What are all the steps needed. Please suggest me on this.

1.I come to know that to apply for PR, need to stay for 5 years in UK.
2. To do this, can I extend my current Visa after two years? Whether this is possible with Tier 2 ICT or do I need to transfer to Tier 2 General? (For changing of Visa, do I need to switch the employer?)
3.
Right now I am woring with Employer A, Visa duration is for 2 years, after that can I extend my visa? If so what are all the steps required?

Below are the details:

Current Visa: Tier 2(ICT -Long term staff)
Visa Start date: August 2013
Landed in UK : September 2013
Visa end date : August 2015

Your T2 ICT LTS leave can be extended up to 5 years max. You will not be eligible for ILR on the 5 year route if you stay on this visa.

You cannot switch to T2G in-country, only from home country after 12 months cooling off. If you do obtain T2G leave you will be eligible for ILR after 5 years in the UK as a T2G migrant (under current rules).

Thanks for your suggestion, however i have got some doubts on this.

1. Can't I change/switch my Tier2 ICT LST visa within UK to Tier2 General, by switching to another employer within UK?
