Hello there,
I wonder if some body could help me. Its regarding naturalisation for my wife. I give you full background, my wife came to UK as a work permit depandent in November 2010, she stayed with me for 01 year and then went to backhome for a medicle training course in Janury 2012 for 01 year, she then joined me in UK in February 2013, since then she is continusously living with me in UK, we applied for ILR in August 2013 and we both were grated ILR status and now I am due to apply for British Citizenship in August 2014 via naturalisation process, my question is that can when can my wife apply for Naturalisation?
Her time period for living in UK is following;
1st Came in November 2010.....stayed till January 2012 --------------------- (14 months stay in UK)
Went back home in January 2012.....and came back in February 2013-------( 13 months absence from UK)
Finally she started living in UK from February 2013......todate----------------( 15 months stay in UK)
So from November 2010 to date, she has spent altogether 29 months...
If I am not mistaken, I believe that depandent should spent 03 years in UK for British Citizenship, considering this can she apply (once I am granted Citizenship)in November 2014 on completion of her 03 years stay in UK or she would have to complete her 03 years period in one go without any break of no more than 09 months.....
I would highly appreciate if soemone could assist me.
Regards,
Tanveer
