Hi everyone

i have a question to clear my mind , my friend he married to Romanian girl and he is non Eu so will he eligible to get the Uk citizen as he has spent 4 years over here and his wife she is Romanian girl she has only a year in UK? also i would like to know after marriage what is the Pr card as far as my knowledge is , you get Eu residency rights after marriage? correct me if i am wrong please.

You must help your friend as how to register with board to ask question. Anyways the 4 years time he has already spent was under uk immigration system which won't be counted/exchanged towards the time which he has been spending as a family member of eu national. From the day of wedding with EU national he need to spend further 5 years to secure PR and during these 5 years the EU national must have been excersing its treaty rights.
