General Visit Visa for graduation

Hi,

Currently i am residing in Sri Lanka and i have completed my Bachelor's degree here in one of UK 's university affiliate. I have been invited for the graduation ceremonies in July and i am planning to attend. I have some doubts regarding the financial funds i need to show.

I have no family members in UK and i am planning to go to UK alone to attend the graduation. i have some questions that need to be clarified

1) how much fund i need to show for staying for 7 days? i am planning to show about 2500 pounds, would that be enough?

2)Currently i am not working so my parent and my grandmother will be sponsoring me. ( they are also living in Sri Lanka, not in UK). can i show my grandmother as a sponsor? is it acceptable?

1- 2500quid is more than enough

2- No problem- As long as you have them issue a letter of sponsorship to go along with the accounts.

I have another doubt, since my grandmother will show funds and she is not working, i cannot show any proof of income, therefore if i show only the bank statement is it enough?
