Renewal of Family Permit?

Hi

I am from South Africa and my Husband is from Holland.
I currently hold a residence permit of an EEA national which is due to expire in October.
I'm a little confused as to what I should apply for next. I have lived and worked in the UK for 10 years now.
Also I will be returning home in September for a week. Will I have any trouble re entering the UK with less than a month on my Visa.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
