Does refusal of new application impact your existing visa

Hi

I have a valid Tier 2 ICT visa till Nov 2014. And I have an appointment for Tier 2 general switch next week.
If for any reason, my new application gets refused, will my existing Tier 2 ICT visa remain valid?
