mhent wrote:Hi, currently I'm waiting for my ILR APPLICATION decision from HO. I'm a Spouse of a BC and I have been living in this country for 8 and half years. HOPE I will get my ilr soon. So I just want to ask will I be able to apply for naturalisation Straight away once my ilr granted?
Provided you have lived in the UK for at least the last 3 years and married to a British citizen then you can submit your naturalisation application any time after you receive you ILR. Applicants for naturalisation need to have held ILR for 12 months at least before applying using form AN, UNLESS they are married to A British citizen. You need to send your marriage certificate and a photocopy of your spouse's passport.
Good luck
