Switching from main applicant to ILR dependent

Hello

I have entered in UK as a student on September 2008. In February 2010 I received Tier 1 PSW leave to remain and in April 2012 Again I have switched to student visa. My Husband got entry clearance visa as my dependent on November 2010 ( entered in UK with dependent visa on December 2010 ) and also got leave to remain as my PBS dependent on April 2012. Before that he was actually the main applicant as student since October 2003 to October 2008 and as Tier 1 PSW from October 2008 to October 2010. Recently he applied for ILR. And i am planning to apply as a dependent of him.

As we are living in UK as partners since December 2010, will my application will subject to immigration rules in force as at 8 July, 2012?
And does my husband need to show the evidence of annual financial earning (GBP 18,600)

No, you'll be subject to the Financial Requirement and A1 English.

Thanks for a quick response. My understanding was same.

But,
The latest VISA I have is a PBS visa as a student, and I have fulfilled all Financial requirement for PBS system when applied for that visa. Though I am not a PBS Dependant now, but my VISA is under PBS system.

So is there any chance I can apply under immigration rules in force as at 8 July 2012 and get exempted from financial requirement of GBP 18,600 ?
