6 bill statements for 2nd 2.5 year app

Hi guys,

About the 6 bills/statements for FLR(M) extension (2nd 2.5 year), will be different bank accounts considered as different bills.

For example, I have 1 joint account with my wife (natwest), 1 debt account (natwest), 2 credit card (hsbc and barclay), would this considered as four of the six bills need to present from my side. Also what is the period that must be covered ? the whole 2.5 years ?

Hi thanks. In the post I wrote two natwest account (one joint, one my personal debit), would that be considered as two bills ? Also do you know how long it needs to cover, the whole 2.5 year ?

Hi, in FLR(M) 12C, it says:

12C Unmarried and same-sex partners (and any spouse or civil partner who has completed 2 years’ leave in that
category but is applying for an extension of stay rather than indefinite leave to remain)

If you are applying as an unmarried or same-sex partner, or if you answered no to question 5.1 and are
applying for an extension of stay although you have completed or nearly completed 2 years’ leave to enter
or remain in the UK as a partner, in addition to the relevant documents in sub-section 12A, you must provide
the following documents:

6 items of correspondence addressed to you and your partner at the same address as evidence that you have
been living together during the past 2 years. See Note 9.


Sorry my English is not good, does it apply only to unmarried and same-sex partners ? or to everyone. (Q 5.1 is asking if you stay here legally, the answer is yes).

I've always assumed proof of cohabitation was required at the next stage but going by that paragragh... it isnt!

Having re-read the paragraph again you do need to provide proof of cohabitation if you are applying for extension of stay.

But you've not completed 2 years, that's under Part 8, you'll have completed 2.5 years under Appendix FM.

Perhaps it's juts poorly worded?

The relationship between the applicant and their partner must be genuine and
subsisting.
